That’s how to replay missions in Gears Tactics. This could be added in via a post-launch update, however, so all hope isn’t lost just yet. In Veteran Mode, you play one Chapter of Side Missions before unlocking a Veteran Mission.
There are multiple save slots, and you can increase or lower the difficulty, or even enable Ironman Mode if you’re looking for a real challenge.įor now, though, if you were hoping of having a Mission Select option, that’s not the case. Veteran Mode is unlocked after completing the Campaign. The other alternative you have if you do want to replay missions in Gears Tactics’ campaign is to simply start a new game. You only need to complete one side mission. There’s also a ‘Restart from Last Checkpoint’ option that you can use if you don’t want to restart the entire mission. Act 1 Chapter 5 of Gears Tactics features both two side missions and one story mission to complete. On top of that, if you’re midway through a mission and want to restart it, you can do so at any point by pressing Escape (Esc) and then selecting the ‘Restart Mission’ option.
You might want to do this if you just particularly enjoyed the mission, if one of your units was killed, or if you want to go for that extra optional objective to get that extra Case.
